The Restoration of the Priesthood

We believe in the same Church organized by Jesus Christ himself with apostles, and prophets.

By authority of the Holy Messiah, who bestowed the same Priesthood held by Father Abraham, we now declare, “Come Follow Us,” and we will teach you in the ways of the Lord, and how you too can be permitted to hold the Holy Priesthood of God, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Do you wonder, is it possible, that I an unlearned man who loves the Lord can actually hold the keys to the Priesthood of God?

To you we say, as did the Lord to Andrew; “Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?

39 He saith unto them, Come and see!

John 1:38,39

To you my Brothers, I repeat the saying;

“Come and see!”

The Mysteries of God

The Book of Mormon Prophet Alma, teaches us that we can know all things which comes from God. The Lawyer, Zeezrom, whom once was a foe to Alma, who was miraculously healed my Alma’s Priesthood power, was taught this beautiful lesson when inquire of Alma diligently, that he might know more concerning the kingdom of God.

Said Alma:”It is given unto many to know the mysteries of God; nevertheless they are laid under a strict command that they shall not impart only according to the portion of his word which he doth grant unto the children of men, according to the heed and diligence which they give unto him.

10 And therefore, he that will harden his heart, the same receiveth the lesser portion of the word; and he that will not harden his heart, to him is given the greater portion of the word, until it is given unto him to know the mysteries of God until he know them in full.”

Faith In Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the answer for those who need help with their faith.

John Records: “said unto you.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John 14:27

He is the light, life and the door to salvation.

If you are feeling down, fear not; there are many who fight depression, loneness, and sometimes feel they are at the end of there rope. If you’d like to talk, the Lord will send a friend.

In this world there are many trials and I know lots of friends that would love to help.

Never give up, there is a way and we know the way.

Why Temples (Movie)

Latter-day Saints are a temple-building and temple-loving people. It has been so from the earliest days of the Church. Through the Prophet Joseph Smith, the Lord declared that “my people are always commanded to build [temples] unto my holy name” (D&C 124:39-40).

The Apostle Paul teaches the Corinthians the following:

29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?

40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. 1 Corinthians 15

Hence, we do this vital vicarious work as we Follow Jesus.

Service

First, we are commanded to serve one another. The first commandment is to love God. “And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself…

Helping Hands provides organized opportunities for Church members to give their time and talents to bless those in need.

With the Hurricanes that have come, and will continue, Helping hand is there for all, because we believe we are all son and daughters of our Heavenly Father, and His Son Jesus Christ.

To be like them is our goal. We are always reminded, especially John’s Great Intercessory Prayer.

“20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.” John 17

The Book of Mormon

The 37th Chapter of Ezekiel records the following:

” The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,

16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:

The Bible was given of the Lord for Judah and The Book of Mormon was written for Ephraim, What to learn more?

Hence, we read at the beginning of the Book of Mormon”

• Wherefore, it (the Book of Mormon) is an abridgment of the record of the people of Nephi, and also of the Lamanites—Written to the Lamanites, who are a remnant of the house of Israel; and also to Jew and Gentile—Written by way of commandment, and also by the spirit of prophecy and of revelation—Written and sealed up, and hid up unto the Lord, that they might not be destroyed—To come forth by the gift and power of God unto the interpretation thereof
